Sherwood Heights Remembers

Students in the Leadership 8 and 9 classes were once again very proud to participate in a No Stone Left Alone ceremony on November 5th.  The organization is dedicated to honouring and remembering Canadian veterans.  Each year ceremonies are held in cemeteries across the country and poppies are laid on the headstones of veterans by students.  2018 marked the eighth anniversary of the organization's endeavour and this year 8 739 students honoured 58 782 CAF members in 101 cemeteries.  Our leadership students organized the event held at the Cooking Lake cemetery and participated by serving as masters of ceremony, reading poems, laying a wreath, playing music, and showing their respect for Canada's military.

This year's Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at Sherwood Heights on November 9th, 2018.
