This was the 10th year of our Annual Book Fair, which has a goal of supporting literacy for all students and their families by providing a place where age appropriate books are available - with the added bonus of raising money for classroom libraries at Sherwood Heights!
Thank you to the entire staff and students for their contribution to the book fair.
Whether it be set up, sales, take down, or purchase each and every one of you
showed how important literacy is to our school. Special thank you to Mrs. Geoghegan
for working countless hours at the fair and Mrs. Ryan and her son for working
during interviews. We also thank the families who purchased books during Student Parent Teacher Interviews this year.
The book fair total for our school is $3068. The school has earned $1448
in books that they can purchase. We are starting to set up mini libraries in classrooms
for subject areas (such as Science, Math, Social, LA).
Thank you again!!!! It is great to see so many students with new literature. Happy Reading!!!
